Please take a moment and check out the latest issue of the CAFE Alumni Association’s magazine, The Ambassador! This month, the publication highlights some of the amazing people that are, and have been, a part of the CLD family.

On page 4, you will learn about the community-led fresh food market model that was co-founded by CLD graduate and current Extension Research Coordinator Heather Hyden, in collaboration with faculty member Dr. Rosalind Harris. This great opportunity allows CLD students to engage and work with communities in building sustainability of the markets and combat food insecurities.

Sarah Marshall, CLD graduate of ’08, is the Alumni Focus on page 14. You will follow her on an amazing journey, from Jamaica to Zimbabwe, and her efforts to help those in need. Thank you Sarah for all of your hard work, and for being an inspiration to our students!

On page 17, you are introduced to current CLD student Myles L. Minnis. The Nashville native found a home in CLD, and is on the right track to reach his goals, and achieve remarkable accomplishments in the future!
