Outstanding agriscience and agribusiness educational programs beyond the high school level of instruction are more important today than ever before. NAAE is proud to honor some of the nation’s most successful postsecondary and full-time adult agricultural education programs and teachers, including Young Farmer education programs.

The NAAE Outstanding Postsecondary/Adult Agricultural Education Program award is sponsored by Bayer as a special project of the National FFA Foundation.

The University of Kentucky Agricultural Education Program (UK Agricultural Education) is part of a land grant university that focuses on the value of research, advocacy, and professional development.

Students from the UK Ag Ed program have conducted and presented research at national conferences on important topics including multicultural differences in the classroom. Students are encouraged to be active in student-led professional development organizations. Instruction is focused on outside-the-box teaching methods.

The Ag Ed program professors, Dr. Rebekah Epps and Dr. Stacy Vincent, realize that agricultural education can happen anywhere and they strive to instill those beliefs in their students so that they may be advocates wherever they may be.
