From Africa to Appalachia, youth entrepreneurship is gaining momentum in the context of Community Development. This colloquium will include Hamady Diop with AUDA-NEPAD describing his work with youth entrepreneurs in food & agricultural innovation, UK’s Von Allman ‘entrepreneurship boot camp,’ John Justice with the Entrepreneurial Coal Lands Redevelopment Program in Eastern Kentucky, and our own Ron Hustedde’s work with youth in Eastern Kentucky.
