CLD Unexpected
The CLD Unexpected Speaker Series provides members of the department an opportunity to share their research, teaching strategies and/or extension and community outreach programs. Presentations in this series are informal and reflect the diversity of thought, research, teaching and practice in the department with the goal of facilitating community-building and collaboration.

UK Field Day
This annual meeting allows students to sharpen their skills in a variety of production agriculture trades, supported through academic competitions. Students can meet other students and professors in agriculture fields at UK. Capitalizing on the networking opportunities, youth gain valuable assets and contacts that can assist them with their academic endeavors.

CASE Institutes Hosted at UK
Each year, UK hosts the CASE Agricultural Power and Technology Institute and the CASE Introduction to Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Institute. APT is a foundation-level course designed to prepare students for careers in agricultural engineering. AFNR introduces students to the range of agricultural opportunities and pathways of study they may pursue.
